These two pieces are about a pitted, bent
and rusted crescent wrench from my Grandfather's farm. Through my duplication of what others would have considered scrap metal I want to draw attention to the importance of it's past.
The dark wrench is the original and the semi transparent is my duplication. The duplications in these images are made of resin and Bronze. I have plans on casting the wrench in more precious metal and explore how material affects the meaning.
