Creating art with a 3D modeling program is designing to a exactness that ball bearings and pre-existing hardware can be utilized with multiple pieces in a unified construction. I love mechanical linkages and how they can be used to teach and mesmerize people. I made a ring that utilizes the thumb and index finger with ball and socket joint linkages in-between.
